Another Day, Another Dog
Let's be real, at DreadK9, we like dogs better than people. What is better than coming home from work to unconditional love from your best friend? My goal is to make owners have the best possible relationship with their dog. Since I started dog training 10 years ago, I realized there are no bad dogs, there's just humans playing pretend wolf better than others. A dog biting someone or something is not a problem, but your dog biting something or someone you didn't want them to bite is the problem. With majority of my clients, all of the "bad behaviors" they are experiencing with their dog is due to not knowing how to properly communicate to their dog. My goal is to bridge that gap and educate people on how to have the best relationship with their dog while still letting their dog be a dog.
Our Story
Growing up, you'd always find me with some type of animal. My love for dogs started when I was growing up in Barbados, we had a Doberman named Kiba and I'd always be by her side even though everyone else was afraid of her. My training career started with my first Pitbull I had named Taliban; I taught him how to ride a moped and the rest was history. After that I started working at Canine Tech as the lead trainer and I felt like my dream came true, being able to fulfill my dream of working with dogs daily and changing peoples lives to connect better with their pets. I then parted ways and started my own company, DreadK9 with my blue Malinois, Tarzan. I've partnered with Miami Shores Animal Clinic and Margate Animal clinic, so I have an intensive background and knowledge of dogs in every aspect.
